About the VEST
Jaja wears a vest every day.
Not as a fashion statement - though he carries it well. As protection. Like many animals who experienced early trauma, Jaja developed an anxiety that triggered an autoimmune response. He began to over-groom, licking his skin raw.
Instead of a cone or a collar, his Nana improvised. A sock, cut into a small vest. Something soft, something he could move in, something that let his skin heal without restriction.
He didn't fight it. He wore it. Every day.
Over two years of testing, adjusting, and refining - Jaja was the quality control, the model, and the chief creative director - those early improvisations became a considered wardrobe. Designed for comfort, made to be worn daily, built around the animal who started it all.
